absence

hey there, kinda haven't blogged in a loong time. sorry about the absence. hehe. well.. what have i been up to huh.

ok. i didn't reali get to write about my birthday, but thanks to my darling ken, i had quite a memorable birthday. as usual, like last year, my birthday celebrations with him spanned for 2 days. the first was the midnight surprise, and the second was the usual movie and dinner, the same as last year. haah. so, what did he do..

hmm.. lol. okie. he came outside my door at 12 midnight, and did a mini magic show that required me to read a fairytale story that was conjured up by him. den he presented me with a cake, a long-stemmed yellow rose, and we did glow-in-the dark painting together. poor darling cut himself because he was trying to smash the tubey glass things that were inside the glow-in-the-dark sticks. and he actually burned a hole in his glove so as to get some chenistry thing right for my birthday. i'll never understand the world of chemistry, but i do understand the power of love though. haah. thanks darling! den we went to manhatten fish market and then rushed to watch Le Grand Chef at PS. (as usual, darling kept it a surprise hush-hush thing) tee-hee. but he managed to surprise me alot because he actually managed to take off to celebrate my bday with me! 2 days some more..

OK.. NEXT UP. cny. i have tons of pictures to load up for the past few events, but i just have no patience to wait for it to load! ugh. anyway, we celebrated my cousin's and her mum's birthday. both were in the month of feb and coincidentally, my cousin's bday is on V day itself. lol. we did an advanced celebration of it. the cake was from............... secret recipe! (: did alot of shopping there. managed to talk alot with my cousins and i did my v day present for ken there too.

next. Valentine's day. actually darling couldn't book out, but in the end, he had like a half day thing going on. so we decided to go ahead with our vday celebration on that day. i thought we were celebrating it on the 16th or the 23rd, hence, i took my time to make his present. but when he said we were celebrating on the 14th instead i had a panic attack. so... i did his scrapbook till 3 in the morning, woke up at 7am, skipped 2 lectures, and finally, after a few cuts and stick-y messes (thx to the glue) i got it done. so.. we went for dinner. but but but!! i managed to go to school for one bloody tutorial and i'm pretty much proud of myself for going. haha. hmm.. den i met him at JP, and he presented me with his gift, a baby-g watch. he knew it was so not-my-type, but he got it for me anyway, hoping i would like it. lol. but it was quite ex i guess.. between $130-150. but i liked it all the same. (though i secretly feel that i have better tastes in watches than he does).den, he surprised me with a rose when i went to run an errand. (: you must rememebr that this is all last min and he was in the army the day before, so there wasn't much he could plan and do. haah. oh ya! before that, we went for teppanyaki at a restaurant in IMM. it was reali good. i had the steak, and he had the chicken and seafood. wahahah. *drools* then we rushed down to cck for a movie. apparently, we were running late due to and oversigh on his part. he told me that we were going to watch Jumper, but when we entered the cinema, it was showing... PS i love you. sneaky darling. but all right, i was surprised. (: thanks for all the planning lao gong. love you lots!

ok. that pretty sums up to major events of out lives. next up, our anniversary. march 3rd. oh ya. we just got our new handphones. he took the w910i back and i took the red one. lol. cool rite? okok. i'll attempt to upload the pics another time. (:
